ALPINA Parking took over the underground parking garage of the City-Center in Gersthofen in April 2026 and is starting regular operations with an uncomplicated, barrier-free parking system and new tariffs.

The Munich-based operator ALPINA Parking, which specializes in individual location development, has been managing the “City-Center Gersthofen” underground car park with 350 parking spaces and a further 50 parking spaces in the outdoor areas since 1 April. In April, ALPINA Parking introduced the new digital technology from the manufacturer Arivo in an initial operating phase, which enables efficient, environmentally friendly and convenient parking operations. During the technical changeover, ALPINA Parking offered all users free parking. Regular parking operations began on May 15, 2026 with a new tariff system tailored to the location.

Alpina has introduced a barrier-free parking system in the Heiligengeistplatz parking garage. Customers drive into the underground car park without taking a ticket. Cameras record the license plate number. This is entered at the pay station after parking.

Alpina Parking has introduced the first barrier-free parking system in Klagenfurt’s city center. In addition, the Heiligengeistplatz underground car park is to be modernized and technically upgraded.
